May 2012: CMS Releases Quality Reporting Manual

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released its manual for the ASC quality reporting program.  The manual provides clear and important information on how ASCs should report information to CMS.  Quality reporting will be mandatory beginning October 1, 2012 and ASCs that fail to participate will face reductions in their future Medicare reimbursement….
